New Back Gauge - Modular Automatic Gauging system, AGS
CIDAN Machinery Sweden AB in Götene, Sweden, announces their new back gauge for CIDAN power folders, Modular Automatic Gauging System, AGS. AGS will be replacing CIDAN Machinery’s current back gauge SBG/AMF. AGS back gauge is a flexible modular back gauge suitable for CIDAN power folder range from K15 to PRO.
The new AGS back gauge is a modular back gauge making it possible to extend, shorten and rearrange the back gauge through the different back gauge modules, increasing the flexibility of the back gauge and insuring that fingers are placed at the best position along the length of the power folder. Furthermore, additional modules can be mounted to the AGS back gauge after delivery.
The cut-out on the AGS back gauge improves the ergonomics even greater than before when operating the folder from the gauging side, while the standard solid fingers are higher to improve gauging surface on radius parts.
AGS will be available both as fixed height back gauge and height adjustable back gauge, with production start of fixed height AGS in early 2015. The production start of height adjustable AGS back gauge will take place later in 2015.
