APak to attend EMPACK 2014
Gothenburg, Sweden, September 10, 2014 - In Swedish
APak AB, based in Mo¨lndal, Sweden, has today formally announced its attendance at Empack
2014. APak is the result of the merger of two previous business units, A-fo¨rpackning and Bro¨derna
Ljungquist, into a single company, aPak AB.
“APak and Empack 2014 have a lot in common,” says Evelina Lindgren, vice president of aPak. “We
are both passionate about the packaging industry, both focused on providing the best solutions to
our partners, and we have both recently gone through a name change! From our side, we are even
more excited than usual about attending the fair, since it will be the first large public forum where
we present our new company and profile. The new aPak represents more than just the merger of
two business areas, it represents what we feel is a better and clearer image for our products and
services and make us more accessible to all clients. Our new organization gives all our customers,
large and small, domestic and international, access to our entire range of standard packaging
solutions and products, industry leading customized solutions, and our web shop.”
This year’s edition of Empack will host over 250 exhibitors and brands, featuring an extensive range
of national and international exhibitors showing their latest packaging products and innovations. In
addition, the fair will feature a full schedule of seminars, networking activities, and other interesting
activities. Naturally, a large industry party will also take place!
“We see Empack 2014 as one of the packaging industry’s most important events and it provides us
with a fantastic forum to present our products, innovations, and solutions, make new contacts, and
discuss some of the challenges we see facing the industry with other packaging professionals. A
fantastic event!”
“When we created the new aPak,” Lindgren continues, “we also felt it important to create a new
graphic identity to reflect the changes and new approach. We have now launched a completely
revised graphic profile and branding expression as well as a new website, covering both business
areas and the company’s web shop.”
Some things have not changed, however, explains Lindgren. “We have long advocated a compre-
hensive and cohesive approach to logistics and packaging solutions. This business approach has
worked very well over the years, helping customers grow and prosper. That will not change. It is
simply that our internal organization and branding will now reflect the same philosophy.”
“We are also really excited about our booth this year,” she continues. “We will be showing off our
new look as well as sharing some of our more innovative solutions and products. We will also be
featuring a really fun contest with some fantastic prizes. We are really looking forward to seeing
new and old customers alike!”
APak can be found at Booth J:04.
