Hager Group reinforces its activity in the field of security-related services

Hager Group evolves continuing to make life easier for its customers and partners, becoming a supplier of services and total solutions.

In line with this corporate strategy, and as part of an asset disposal programme, the group has recently acquired three companies (Teles SA, Prodis, A.V.I. Securité) and one of the business branches of the company Artys.

Teles S.A. is in the domain of remote monitoring operating from two centres in France, in Dijon and in Puget. Prodis distributes products and equipment for security, remote monitoring and video monitoring. Its subsidiary A.V.I. Sécurité specialises in the sale, installation and maintenance of alarm systems. The business branch of Artys taken over by Hager Group is located in Paris, and is supported by a solid network of distributors. These companies and activities represent a turnover of 15 million euros; together they employ about 120 people.

These acquisitions place Hager Group among the top five players in the French remote monitoring market in terms of customer base volume. The group is already present in this market with its brands Daitem and Diagral, its Proxeo network and its remote monitoring centre and production site in Crolles (Isère département, France); these acquisitions reinforce Hager Group’s position in this growing segment by adding new services complementing its current portfolio.

The acquisitions will also enable Hager Group to achieve a better balance in its customer portfolio and gain access to professionals and key accounts. For some years now, the company has been targeting the commercial market in parallel with its main activity, which focuses on the residential sector.

A further aim of this development is to reinforce the group’s position in the field of home automation, through reliable, innovative products and services.
