Hager Group: Mike Elbers new Marketing and Sales Director Central Europe

From April 1^st Mike Elbers will be strengthening Hager Group as Marketing and Sales Director for Hager and Berker inGermany as well as Head of Central Europe (Germany,Switzerland, theNetherlands). In these positions, he succeeds Ulrich Liesenjohann, who is retiring from the operational business after many years of successful activity within Hager Group. In his role as director, Mike Elbers will further align the organisation towards customer orientated solutions in residential and commercial buildings.

Mike Elbers previously worked for Office Depot International, where over many years, he has held several senior positions, most recently as Vice-President Marketing & Merchandising Europe. He has extensive experience in Sales and Marketing as well as in product marketing, commercial marketing, strategic management and employee management.

The 47-year old earned his degree in Business Economics and a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management (BBA) atPortsmouthBusinessSchool. During his career he has worked inGreat Britain,Italyand theNetherlands.

As a member of the Executive Committee he will report directly to the Hager Group Board, i.e. to Bertrand Schmitt, COO (Chief Operations Officer). Mike Elbers will undertake his activities most of the time from Blieskastel.
