LPKF Laser Welding at Compamed 2011
At Compamed in Dusseldorf (Germany), LPKF is showcasing the LQ-Vario. This compact laser welding system is designed for the cost-effective production of small and medium sized batches. The integrated rotary indexing table enables components to be placed and removed while the laser system is already processing the next part. A special version of this Stand-Alone-System, the LQ-Vario MF, enables even complex welding contours, such as those in microfluidic components, due to a high performance fiber laser.
The leading systems supplier for laser plastic welding is also demonstrating the welding head of the LQ-Integration – a flexible integratable welding unit. The supply devices such as the laser, main connections, cooling and controls are all housed in a separate control cabinet. This makes the processing head very compact for easy integration in the customer’s own production configuration, including automatic part holding systems or rotary indexing tables. The scanner-based installation combines process reliability with maximum efficiency for the laser welding of plastic components.
All systems are equipped with integrated process monitoring.
