Sandberg presents a range of power supplies for laptop computers and netbooks
Anyone with a laptop computer knows that from time to time you may need an extra power supply– and not just if the original power supply is broken. You might want to use the laptop in the car, at work, at school or other places without needing to separate the cable installations by your desk back at home.
Sandberg has launched a range of compact power supplies on the market. Sandberg's power supplies are universal so compatible with most laptop computers. Lots of the problems which can occur with other universal power supplies have been solved with Sandberg's products.
For now there are two versions, i.e. for netbooks (small laptop computers) and laptops (normal-sized laptop computers). Each of the two versions is available for both car and mains sockets. The versions for cars are both 12 V and 24 V, thus they also work perfectly in e.g. lorries, agricultural machinery and contractors' machinery as well as ordinary passenger cars.
Each of the power supplies is provided with a number of adapters. The adapters are small connecting links. At one end they all fit the cable from the power supply. At the other end they have been adapted to the different brands and models of laptops on the market. An ingenious and efficient system.
Three of the products have smart adapters. This means that each adapter contains a code of the corresponding voltage so that the risk of an incorrect connection is reduced. The large model for laptops and 230 V contains a display instead so you can set the desired voltage.
Unlike many other products on the market, Sandberg's power supplies have built-in charge pulse chips which ensure both the operation and charging of all types of laptops, including HP and Dell.
It is important that you save the adapters that you don't need right now. Then the power supply can be reused when you change computers at a later date. The power supply itself has a five year warranty so you will probably have it for longer than you will the computer.
It can also be a good idea to carry the extra adapters on you. You could become extremely popular at work when your colleague has left the power supply for their laptop at home and you have a power supply that is compatible with practically everything.
The power supplies have been produced in accordance with Sandberg's "Quality First" principles. This means that they are extremely robust products you can benefit from for many years and which come with a warranty for the first five years. The prices are still far below what you would normally pay for an original power supply.
The power supplies can be purchased in many shops and online. You can find more information, the facility to purchase online and your nearest dealer at www.sandberg.it.
