Rémy Cointreau Group chooses ReadSoft for electronic invoice processing

Rémy Cointreau Group has decided to invest in ReadSoft's invoice processing solutions for SAP® to make their invoice processing more efficient. The agreement covers the processing of approximately 70,000 invoices annually at the group's French offices. The new, automated work process will be put into production during April 2009.

The Rémy Cointreau Group ranks among the leading players within spirits worldwide. Its portfolio includes some of the most well-known premium brands of cognac, champagne, liqueur and spirits like; Rémy Martin, Cointreau, Piper-Heidsieck, Metaxa, Mount Gay Rum, etc. The Group had a turnover of EUR 816 million 2007–2008 and distributes its products in 150 countries.

"Document Automation offers substantial benefits for the account payable process", says Eric Bourdarias, Project Manager at Rémy Cointreau. "By eliminating paper from the flow we will give every one involved - inside and outside the accounting department - the ability to work directly with the electronic image of the invoice. By doing this we will have better productivity in each stage of the invoice lifecycle, from scan and capture to payment and archiving".

The new work process will also give Remy Cointreau the opportunity to better comply with internal control procedures.

"We want to know exactly where the invoices are, what their status is, what operations have been made and by whom", explains Hervé Bourdelais, Supplier Account Manager, at Rémy Cointreau

Rémy Cointreau Group has chosen ReadSoft's invoice processing solutions for SAP together with the newly released reporting tool REPORTER. This product will give them immediate access to all data regarding the processing. Better monitoring will drive a continuous process improvement. "We have chosen ReadSoft for their end-to-end, SAP solutions and also for their user friendliness. We have been very thorough in our evaluation and have had users involved at a very early stage to evaluate the interface and ease of use, says Eric Bourdarias.
