New multi-purpose Fasson adhesive for durable goods labelling

A new multi-purpose solvent acrylic label adhesive specially suited to the needs of today's electronic products market has been launched by Avery Dennison. Fasson S8030 complements the growing professional Fasson Durables package of labelstocks for functional, safety, warning and identification labels used on electronic, automotive, and domestic appliances and other electrical goods.

Simpler specification
For converters, Fasson S8030 covers a broad spectrum of mid-range durable label applications -- particularly plastics and other smooth substrates. As a result, Fasson S8030 can help save time in the purchasing department and reduce the need for adhesive over-specification and costly inventory variety. It will deliver robust performance in many applications including computers, telephone handsets, TVs, DVD players, and lighting equipment.

With the electronic products market trending towards lighter weights, plastic components are increasingly replacing metal. Fasson S8030 provides the reliable bond strength of a solvent acrylic adhesive coupled with good everyday chemical and UV resistance. It partners the high-specification Fasson S8015 adhesive for applications where even higher chemical resistance and adhesion on rough substrates are requirements.
