The profitable growth of Videra’s conferencing services continued
Videra reached its targets in terms of growth in the last accounting period ended in May. The turnover increased almost 30 percent from the last accounting period, being over 3 million euros. In addition to growth, the business profit percentage stayed at the level of over 10 percent.
Sales Director Janne Lauanne comments on the growth: “In a demanding field of business, Videra is the only company that managed to increase its turnover steadily. The high-end videoconferencing equipment markets are now generally seen as challenging, but there is a demand for innovative service solutions. There is increasing interest in remote work solutions. Several traditional network suppliers and software houses have recently launched their own light software-base solutions to meet the demand. Videra’s Virtual Office, a service combining high-end videoconferencing and software-based solutions as a fully outsourced service, has been warmly welcomed in the market.”
The growth was further boosted by the speedy launching of Videra’s Customer Tailored Solutions (CTS), thanks to important client projects such as the virtual home service, remote trial and distance learning projects. The focus in the CTS business is in the development and supply of innovative remote work solutions for the needs of different client groups.
Videra is the largest operator in the field in Finland and a major developer of remote work services and solutions in the Nordic countries. For example, Videra was chosen to provide remote work services for the different bodies covered by the framework agreement of the Swedish state administration.
Videra Oy’s objective is to grow 50 percent during this accounting period and expand its operations in the Scandinavian conferencing service markets.
