Tegelgroep Nederland has chosen the Consafe Logistics solution for their warehouse operations

Tegelgroep Nederland, a wholesale company distributing tiles and ceramic products in the Netherlands replaces its SAP WMS. Consafe Logistics will supply logistics knowledge in warehouse management together with the implementation of SattStore WMS. The start of operation is planned for April 2007.

Tegelgroep Nederland in the city of Andelst (near Arnhem and Nijmegen) is the specialist logistics service provider for large wholesalers in tiles and ceramics in The Netherlands like Jos Haag, Mieloo and V&S Tiles. Retailers and builder’s supply markets need a professional and efficient way of distribution, a fast and Just-In-Time delivery, clarity in operations and in internal organisation and Tegelgroep Nederland – in English: Tiles Group Netherlands – provides this to its clients.

For an optimised warehousing and distribution, Tegelgroep Nederland opened a new and sophisticated warehouse, where the mentioned wholesalers like Jos Haag Tegelgroothandel, Mieloo Tegelimport and V&S Tiles store their products. Tegelgroep Nederland operates on their behalf the complete logistics as its core business. The wholesalers themselves operate as purchasers and selling organisations.

Consafe Logistics will deliver SattStore WMS for the warehouse operations. One of the reasons why the existing SAP WMS system will be replaced is the standard functionalities and the operational cost for the Consafe Logistics WMS.
