European 3G operator added to Teligent's client list

New order within Messaging

Teligent announces today an order within Next Generation Messaging to be delivered to a third-generation mobile operator in a European market.

Teligent's advanced messaging solution, Teligent Messaging System (TMS), is a flexible and distributed system that handles multiple applications and mailboxes in various networks (mobile, fixed and IP) on a single scalable platform.

"This deal confirms our position as a leading supplier within Messaging. It also emphasizes our capability to deliver services in different types of traditional networks as well as in the emerging market of convergent networks" says Tomas Duffy, CEO and President of Teligent.

Teligent's patented telecom platform, the Teligent P90/E, is used in various configurations by a large number of leading carriers in the international telecommunications market, including BT, Cingular, SingTel, SMART, Telefónica, TeliaSonera, Verizon and Vodafone. The platform is recognised as a powerful tool for implementing services in public networks and separates network signalling, service execution and presentation to end-users. It conforms to the 3GPP IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) and is adapted for use in a wide variety of networks, from traditional fixed and mobile networks to the emerging market of VoIP based next generation networks.
