Product Description
The MAB-03A-T-D1 digital microphone series is based on the electret condenser microphone (ECM) structure widely adopted in the industry, and features a new substrate lamination technique and a new material with high heat resistance. This knowledge Star Micronics has gained through the development of our previous products, utilizing the past to make a very small, low profile reflowable microphone. The surface mountable microphone can be directly soldered on to substrates to accommodate high volume applications.

The standard size of the MAB-03A-T-D1 microphone is 3mm × 4mm × 1mm thick, making the product suitable for cellular phone use for where demand for downsizing and low-profiling is remarkably high. With its electronic components covered by a thick substrate material, the microphone is advantageously resistant to drop shock and vibrations. As an ECM adopting the above new technique and material, there is an increasing demand for this type of product in the telecommunication equipment market where high quality, low cost and mass productivity are priorities.
