Important new customers accelerate growth at Videra
Videra Oy has signed a global contract on supplying telephone conferencing services with Aldata Solution Oyj. The Videra Voice+ service will enhance international communications between Aldata and its subsidiaries. Aldata is a Finnish company operating internationally and one of the leading global suppliers of information system solutions, with customers in about 50 countries. Aldata has its own subsidiaries in Finland, France, Sweden, Germany, Slovenia, Great Britain and the United States.
The municipal educational federation of Northern Satakunta relies on Videra¿s long expertise in delivering distance teaching solutions. The educational institutions of Pohjois-Satakunnan Ammatti-instituutti, Kankaanpään yhteislukio, Pomarkku, Merikarvia, Honkajoki and Lavia upper secondary schools will be provided with distance teaching systems containing global market leader Polycom¿s video conferencing equipment and the ACU control system developed by Videra. ACU makes managing distance teaching equipment easy either from a single touch screen or automatically based on machine vision, allowing the teacher to fully concentrate on his or her work.
Videra has recently signed a supply contract on a telecommuting system with the Directorate of Immigration. The interior administration is an important Videra customer, and now the Directorate of Immigration has also obtained its system from Videra under the interior administration framework agreement. The first phase will be delivery of 11 sets of work station equipment to the Directorate of Immigration. The system will be used for remote interpreting and training.
