Borealis appoints Resin Express as European distributor in automotive
Borealis, a leading innovative plastics provider, has appointed Resin Express as a distributor in Europe for its polypropylene (PP) used in automotive solutions with effect from May 15, 2006.
Resin Express will complement Ashland as distributors for a wide range of solutions to the European automotive market on behalf of Borealis including Daplen, a family of thermoplastic solutions that help make cars light, energy efficient and safe, and Borcom microcomposites, a new generation of products to minimise weight and costs.
Commenting on the appointment, Paul Turner, Vice President Engineering Applications at Borealis, says: "By signing this agreement, Borealis can benefit from Resin Express' extensive European local sales organisation and technical capability to better serve our small and medium-size customers.
